1.4 First AI Lookbook

A first image is a deliberate starting point: combine clear garment references with a pose and setting, then inspect what the generation actually gives you.

Purpose

In this video, we’ll create our first AI lookbook image for a product page. We’ll choose the clothes, a pose and a background, then see how they look together.

Check the inputs

Start on Generate in Astria. This is where we write a prompt. Open the mode menu at the top right and choose Lookbook. Here we can add references by category: top, bottom, jacket, footwear.

Build the look

Let’s add packshots of our shirt, trousers and shoes—studio photos of the products. Check that we’ve selected the right photo for each item.

Choose the pose and setting

For the pose, you can choose a stick-figure example in the Pose square or describe it in words in the prompt. Choose a pose that shows the outfit clearly. For the background, you can select an image from the public library or upload your own.

Set the frame

Before clicking Generate, let’s check the settings below the prompt box. Choose the AI model you want to use. Aspect ratio is the image’s width compared with its height. We’ll choose three-by-four, which is taller than it is wide. Nine-by-sixteen and two-by-three are other options; use the shape that suits your brand’s product photos. Set the output size to 2K, then choose how many images to generate per single prompt.

Closing thought

Click Generate. Here are our first lookbook images, with the clothes, pose and background we chose.
