Every visual choice communicates the brand. A good lookbook brings those choices together while showing the clothes clearly.

Welcome

Hi, I'm Ella, and in this series we'll learn how to create a full AI lookbook for your brand. We'll start with the choices that give a lookbook its identity, and we'll find them on a real brand's website. Our example is Bobo Choses, so let's open one of their shirts.

Background

Start with the background. In this photo, the setting is plain and neutral: a smooth, light grey wall that keeps the outfit in front. Notice its color, its texture and the soft shadows. Together, they set the brand's mood. When the background is plain, save its color. When it's textured, keep a reference image instead. Either way, you have a specific look to recreate.

Models and styling

Now look at the models: their hair, their styling and their poses. Open a few more products and see which choices repeat. Here, the models stand straight to the camera with a calm, neutral face, and they wear full outfits with flat shoes. Together with the background, these choices make up the brand's visual DNA, the recognizable style we want to carry into our own images.

Useful garment views

The photos also need to explain the clothes. That matters most in online shopping, where the photos are how customers understand what they're buying. A full-length view shows the overall fit. A close-up, like this one on the lace collar, reveals a detail. Choose the views each garment needs, and keep the visual style the same across all of them.

Before you generate anything, put these references together: the background, the model and styling, and the garment views. That's your visual brief, the guide you'll use to create your AI lookbook and to check the results against.
